About
I build revenue engines. I've been doing it since I was 17.
I started my first business in my senior year of high school, mowing lawns. By 22, Executive Curb Design was clearing $150,000 to $200,000 a year in profit from curbing, landscaping, and snow removal. I added $40K of snow removal in four months with a $600 used truck. Then I sold it to my employees and moved to Atlanta with no network.
In Atlanta I cold-called mortgage companies for Neighborhood Gold and Buyer's Fund, a down payment assistance program for home buyers. I built a nine-state sales territory, then helped build the sales organization from zero into the largest provider of its kind in the U.S. At the peak we processed 10,000+ deals and $50M in funding a month. A 2008 federal rule change ended the program.
That's the pattern ever since. Walk into something under-built, figure out what's actually broken, build the system, and run it.
I've done it as an employee and as an owner. As Chief Growth Officer at VIEMed, a NASDAQ company, we grew from $64.5M to $131M. As a Senior Director at ADP I launched a product from zero to $140M+. As the embedded CEO of Dowdle, I took a seven-year plateau from $7M to $21M.
Since 2001 I've run Nimble Rhino. It's the firm behind 100+ client engagements in 20+ industries, usually paid on results, not hours. Over that time I've hired and managed 500+ people, trained 1,000+ salespeople, and built a 1,100-seat offshore call center. I've built and sold several companies of my own.
I still own and run companies today. Nimble Travel grew from $0 to $3M in bookings in two years. Nimble Talents places offshore sales and support talent with U.S. companies. I built Nimble Clicks into an SEO agency with nearly 500 monthly clients and sold it in 2025.
I'm not an engineer by any stretch. But I've been putting AI to work for clients since 2013, when we were offering enterprise AI solutions at Mobile Coach, nine years before ChatGPT. Today we use AI agents across our own companies every day. I know where AI removes work and where it just makes noise.
How I think
Three rules I work by
Fix it first, then scale it.
Scaling a broken process gives you a bigger broken process.
Show me the incentive.
Show me the incentive and I'll show you the outcome. Most sales problems are really comp plan problems.
Windshield, not rear-view mirror.
A report should tell you what to do next, not just what happened.

Outside work
I speak fluent Spanish from two years of humanitarian service in Guayaquil, Ecuador. I've also spent 20+ years in volunteer leadership. I started by leading one local organization and later helped lead a dozen of them. Nobody gets paid, so there's no comp plan to lean on. People follow a clear plan and a leader who shows up. It's the best management training I've had.
